Pregnancy: Week 32

It's the end of week 32. Baby is supposed to be around 2 kg and 40 cm. I am weighted at 59.5. I am doing quite well in general. Resting in bed does help a lot. Not being allowed to move around and go shopping is frustrating, especially in this nice weather. I am counting down days, 4 more weeks to go, baby will reach term.

Although I don't have all the good and delicious food a pregnant woman can get in China, I am paying extra attention to what I eat: fresh pressed juice, lots of milk products, fruits and vegetable, meat and fish. e.g. if a pregnant woman doesn't eat enough calcium, her baby will actually take calcium from her body's reserve, it could cause long term damage to the woman. So we are not just eating for our baby, but also for ourselves.

Baby kicks a lot these days. As he gets bigger, the kicks are also stronger. Sometimes, it hurts a bit. I feel the kicks by his feet on the left hand side of my stomach. So it means that baby is not yet in the right position. Hmm, hopefully he will turn head down soon. I don't want to have a cesarien delivery! I read that laying down position is not good to get baby into the right position. I should try to be on fours. I will do that from today.
